We’re ready for Round 12 of the Betfred Championship…are you?
First up is a meeting between Batley and Toulouse.
The Bulldogs will be hoping they can bounce back after a disappointing defeat to Featherstone last weekend, while the current league leaders will be aiming for a big win when they come to this West Yorkshire town.
The French side have won convincingly in their previous two encounters with Mark Moxon’s men – piling exactly 100 points on their opponents in both fixtures last year – this included a 36-0 nilling at the Fox’s Biscuits Stadium, before a 64-16 thumping in the south of France.
Could there possibly be a change of fortunes for the Bulldogs or will Toulouse prove far too strong?
On Sunday, London and Widnes will both look to return to winning ways. This will be their first meeting since 2023.
Barrow and Featherstone’s standout fixture in Cumbria is set to be interesting – Fev have flourished in recent weeks, while Barrow continue to be the surprise package in 2025.
The Rovers may have one eye on their trip to Wembley for the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Final next weekend but can ill-afford to underestimate an in-form Raiders outfit.
The two points on offer are highly important for both teams, with Barrow pushing to be in the mix at the top end of the table, and Fev desperate to close the gap and climb back into a position for Play-Offs contention.
Elsewhere, the Dons and the Bulls will clash at the Eco-Power Stadium. The sides have already faced off once this season, with Bradford coming away as convincing victors on home soil (30-4).
Bradford have won their last 14 meetings with Doncaster and are sitting in second place - also level on points with Toulouse at the top. The hosts, on the other hand, are sitting just outside the top six.
Doncaster are searching for a second successive home victory after emphatically beating London 30-12 in Round 11 - and for the first time in 31 years!
Will they also break their losing streak against Bradford...which dates all the way back to 1973! With this in mind, there's the potential for there to be a fiesty affair on the cards...
Then, there’s a battle between the newly promoted in Hunslet and Oldham. The Roughyeds have adapted to life in the second tier far better than Sunday’s upcoming opponents, although Hunslet have managed to muster up two wins against Sheffield and Batley in their 2025 campaign.
And one of these wins came just last week, which will be a huge boost and motivator for the South Leeds outfit. Can they possibly secure back-to-back victories for the first time this year?
Finally, York have a home tie ahead of their eagerly anticipated trip to Wembley next weekend, and they will welcome Sheffield.
They last met in Round 25 last year, which quickly turned into an entertaining encounter and a tale of two halves which saw the Knights pip a 24-26 win.
Will there be more of the same in Round 12?
